Management Team
Mr. David Zhao (赵世诚) - CEO
After extensive work experience with Chinese state-owned financial institutes, David Zhao went to the United States in 2000 for further studies. He later worked in several senior management roles in a number of NYSE listed companies including HP and MOVE, where he lead the innovation and implementation of a wide range of e-commerce projects. David is an expert in internet SNS, B2C platforms and SAAS commercial modeling.
David returned to China in 2005 to establish Vansky Technology with a innovative new e-commerce model. Equipped with his vast and in-depth e-commerce expertise and keen insight into China's upper-end consumer segment market development, David seized the market opportunity by founding Shangpin.com in 2010.
Ms. M. Claire Chung (仲忆澄) – Vice President- Global Business Development
Claire joined Shangpin.com in 2011, and is responsible for global business development, brand management, and identifying unique and new designers' brands, Claire is a polyglot and speaks 5 languages.
Claire Chung is a graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University. She began her international career in New York at the Citibank Art Advisory Service, (Division of Citibank Private Bank). She later joined Christie's Hong Kong, where she launched their Client Advisory Services Group. Later, her role was expanded she was relocated to HQ in London where she was in charge of covering VIP client development for all of Asia- ex-Japan.
Claire was the CEO & Founder of Touch2Give.com, a European based SNS social-network based e-commerce start-up dedicated to providing an online marketplace for emerging and niche luxury designer brands with a focus on sustainable and ethical fashion forward brands.
Ms. Winnie Foon (刘韵仪) – Vice President –Global Merchandising
Winnie Foon has over 16 years of international luxury fashion merchandising, sales, and marketing management experience. She has worked with multinational and local fashion retail companies, such as Land Crawford department stores, Seibu and I.T.
In recent years, Winnie has been a very successful entrepreneur, developing a full range of high quality fashion goods for up-market fashion retail chains in the UK, USA, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. She has close associations with various related business chambers and great passion forfashion B2C market development in China.
Winnie bringsher vast international high-end fashion business know-how and connections to leadthe purchasing, sales and marketing teams in both Hong Kong and China to bring the best current selection of international brands & products to Shangpin.com's members who are eager to learn and shop for new brands and lifestyle.
